Jeyamohan’s classic Tamil short story ‘Pradhaman’ (பிரதமன்) was recently published in translation in a print-only little magazine called South Parade. The story is reprinted here with their permission.
About South Parade:
Edited by Arshia Sattar, Indira Chandrasekhar, Rahul Soni, Sohini Basak and Trupti Prasad, South Parade is a twice-yearly print-only magazine of contemporary literature, arts and culture from the global south. Although the global south has often been the focus of different publications from different continents and cultures, it has rarely been done in a sustained fashion through the lens of literature. South Parade’s editorial mission is to showcase important voices – emerging, established, overlooked – from the region.
